An Exploration of Soccer Analytics

Every month, this newsletter will explore a new topic in soccer analytics. Unless that month I decide to call it “football analytics” instead. You never know.

You will receive direct to your inbox first the “Study” . And then in the weeks following you will usually receive a second newsletter called the “Sandbox” where we take the findings from the study and just play around with them.

An Interactive Newsletter

This newsletter will look to create new football analytics material every month. Every question is up for discussion and by joining in the comments you can be part of the exploration. And then for the “Sandbox” I will take requests from subscribers. If the study is on finishing and you want to know more about Chelsea’s strikers, let me know. If the study is on take-ons and there’s a kid in the Belgian League whose stats you think are relevant, we can take a look.
